Garden Bird Earrings
Enameled copper earrings inspired by the birds and a foggy day in my garden. The pattern was electro-etched on a sheet of copper from which I then cut the shapes and prepared them for enameling in a kiln.
These softly colored earrings feature only white enamel on the etched copper. The misty blue green color is provided by copper oxides reacting with the glass due to repeated firings in a kiln. Each pair is unique and special.
The disc is 25mm diameter. Ear wires are hypoallergenic black niobium with a black onyx bead.
