Bird in a Bush - ring
Bird in a Bush ring - Sterling silver with roll printed design. Top is 25mm diameter. Size 9. 10mm band tapers to 7mm at back for a comfortable fit. Inspired by the birds that visit the garden outside my studio windows.
I first etched the design on a brass sheet and then used it to roller print the image onto a sheet of silver. The disc for the top, and the strip for the band , were cut from the printed sheet. the ring was patinated as a last step, resulting in a beautiful indigo blue and purple ring around the bird.
