Willow Ring
Cigar band style silver ring with an etched image of willow leaves inspired by William Morris’s willow pattern wallpaper found in a Dover book of his art.
The edited pattern was transferred to a 16 gauge sheet of sterling silver and electro-etched before being cut and formed into the band for this “Garden” series ring.
The high areas of the design were polished to a mirror bright surface while low areas were patinated dark for contrast.
The ring is lightly domed and tapers from a wide top to a narrower back for a comfortable fit.
Ring size is: 8 1/4 - The band is 16mm at top and tapers to 7.5mm at back for a comfortable fit.
